Are you a PR professional looking for an interesting new challenge?

We are currently recruiting a PR Executive with minimum 3 years of experience to work for for the Award Winning Department Store - Level Shoes.

The Public Relations Executive is responsible for the daily management and implementation of strategic communications programs that meaningfully and measurably advances PR objectives and brand position. The Public Relations Executive will work to secure quality, positive consumer and business press coverage.

Main Responsibilities:
•PR coverage
•Collect, compile and maintain media contacts list/database.
•Maintain the database with accurate media information, including editorial profiles.
•Send media kits, press releases and pitch stories to appropriate media outlets.
•Identify and create opportunities to obtain media coverage.
•Create, develop and place news stories in key target media from start to finish.
•Provide key positioning and messaging by writing press releases and creating interview opportunities.
•Develop talking points, presentations and other communications materials for external and internal audiences.
•Develop and identify media opportunities across print, broadcast and web.
•Develop, plan, and manage the proactive press relations, media relation function and outreach with business, trade and major consumer media, both traditional and online and respond to other media inquiries.
•Manage the development of relations with key journalists, publications and programmes.
•Maintain good relationships with newspaper, magazine, TV journalists and online/social media at all levels.
•Tag relevant coverage and connect it to the underlying PR activities.
•Improve customer satisfaction by executing deep analysis of coverage results to help drive strategy.
•Create actionable reports and recommendations resulting in greater PR effectiveness.
•Develop, manage and measure PR programs/campaigns that support the continued growth of Client's brand leadership.
•Track media coverage and provide quarterly report of media coverage by each medium and market.
•Analyse local, regional and national print, broadcast and online media coverage for trends that would influence the media relations tactics, opportunities, etc.
•Apply detailed knowledge of media market, circulation, audience information, consumer insights, media vehicles and geographical locations to develop media recommendations on the best form of media for specific PR coverage.
•Assist in organizing PR events and follow up with PR team and the press.
•Liaise with PR team and Press to create a brand for the event and organise the dispatch of tickets, invitations, posters, catalogues and sales brochures to the invited media.
•Follow up and evaluate the PR event, including data entry and analysis and producing reports for PR team.

Requirements

•Degree in Marketing
•At least 3 years in a PR role
•Regional experience, ideally based in Dubai
•Excellent English and Arabic is required, French is a plus
