Job Description

•Maintaining relationships with the Commercial and Operational Managers, understanding key business activities and offering support when required
•Managing and developing the relationship with the client and group finance, ensuring reporting requirements
•are met to the appropriate deadlines
•Manage day to day finance and accounting functions
•Develop accounting and management policies and procedures in consultation with the Group Finance and the
•Commercial Manager
•Prepare monthly management accounts for the company and review of the same with the Group Finance
•team and Commercial Manager
•Cash management and driving working capital initiatives across the business
•Delivering half and full year accounts, including extensive audit liaison
•Leading Budget processes, reviewing performance and spend with Senior Management and delivering accurate
•and robust forecasts to Group/Business deadlines
•To deliver effective management information on financial activity across the contract, including an analysis of
•trends and challenges to the General Manager.
•Providing monthly and ad-hoc analysis and reports to support the Senior Management Team in their roles
•Verify and report irregularities to management
•Reviewing monthly business and cost and value reports, producing key schedules and commentary
•Assessing the financial stability/viability of potential clients and subcontractors
•Liaise with banks for day to day banking operations and assist in arranging the funded and non funded bank
•facilities

Requirements

•A professionally recognised financial qualification to a degree level
•Likely to have in excess of 5 years financial managerial experience
•Significant track record of success in supporting FM contracts
•Aware of the trends in the market-place and seeks to deepen knowledge of industry issues and drivers
•MENA Experience preferred
•An innovative approach and sound management skills.
•Experience of working in a busy and challenging workplace / work environment.
•Excellent organisational skills
•Ability to utilise numerous IT packages (e.g. Microsoft Office, e-mail, Internet etc).
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
