Job Description

Salary: AED 60k + schooling, family flights, family medical

Inspire Selection is searching for a CFO, reporting directly to the CEO of this regional retail group. This role acts as the link between retail operations and IT to finance and the CEO.


Responsibilities



•Oversee all financial operations
•Participate in corporate strategy
•Manage all aspects of management, financial reporting and analysis
•Attending monthly Business Performance Report reviews
•Responsible for forecasting and budgets
•Review working capital
•Treasury, Tax / VAT
•Due diligence on new stores
•Advise on legal contracts
•Preparation of Board minutes
•Align the IT systems with Operations
•Handle company insurance
•Manage the finance team
•Deal with year-end auditors

Requirements

•Retail industry experience
•Excellent accounting skills
•Tight management of cash flows
•Strategic thinker
•strong business acumen
•Excellent communicator
•Strong personality with the ability to be diplomatic
•Resilient
•Ability to discuss strategic subjects in the boardroom
•Politically confident and able to navigate sensitive situations diplomatically

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Chartered Accountant
•Extensive senior management-level experience of successful change management within a demanding environment
•Extensive experience of managing, setting and monitoring budgets
•A successful track record in FP&A
