Sells Freudenberg’s complete product portfolio to existing OEM and FSD customers with the objective of annually improving market share at each customer.
Identifies/qualifies new OEM and FSD prospects every month; and follows-up with visits to present the Freudenberg “message,” identify opportunities to capture business, and develop relationships with the decision makers in various departments.
Visits customers and prospects within his/her region approximately four days per week – which will usually require two to three overnights per week.
Accurately and promptly communicates customer quotation requests, orders, quality issues, information requests, etc. to appropriate Freudenberg personnel (i.e., Inside Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and Quality)
Cooperates closely with the Inside Sales Team assigned to region
Supports the Authorized Fluid Sealing Distributors in his/her region by providing them with product literature, product training, sales tools, pricing guidelines, and traveling with their sales reps to help them win orders from their OEM customers.
Confidently presents to customer’s management via PowerPoint presentation and other visual aids.
Actively participates in projects that involve his/her customers such as developing new designs and structuring long term blanket agreements
Maintains a monthly Customer Visit Report log
Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent
3-5 years’ experience in a progressive sales and business development role
1-3 years’ experience selling to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or Fluid Sealing Distributors (FSD)
