Outfitter II at Copper River Family of Companies

Job Descrption

ReconCraft is seeking an Electrical/Outfitter II who will be responsible for all facets of outfitting including installation of mechanical systems, steering hydraulics, engines, fuel lines, electrical systems, wiring, and all types of accessories. Full assembly of boat trailers and performing rigging as required. The outfitter must adhere to established procedures, site cleanliness, use of drawings, and efficiently complete tasks according to reasonable and planned resource hours. Electrical/Outfitter II is expected to be knowledgeable on their respective vessel specifications, build standards and ABYC requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Electrical/Outfitter II must demonstrate the ability to safely perform multiple duties and work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must demonstrate ability to effectively use all tools including drills, rotacut system, hole punches, rivet gun, rivnut, keensert guns, and caulking guns. They also must be able to effectively read all measurement tools and be able to find center on parts with said tools.
  • They will also be required to complete assigned work in a reasonable amount of time while adhering to established quality control standards.

Work Experience:

Electrical/Outfitter II typically has 3-6 years of experience with mechanical/electrical systems in the automotive or marine field.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
    • High School Diploma (GED)
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must be able to pass background check.
    • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding drawing symbols read flag notes and general notes.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Read travelers and standard procedures.
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
    • Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability lift 50lbs. Standing for long period of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required.
    • Ability to work long hours, when required, to meet deadlines and other deliverables.
