Chick-fil-A Supply Chain is utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning to help Chick-fil-A restaurants, distributors, and suppliers make data-driven planning decisions. The Sr. Lead Technical Product Owner will sit within Chick-fil-A’s Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) department and support Supply Chain Planning with building analytics pipelines as they scale for future growth.
In this role, the Technical Product Owner will act as the liaison between Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Data & Analytics, and DTT. This individual will be responsible for partnering with Supply Chain leaders to define and execute the product strategy, document functional use cases, define the problems to be solved, research in-field scenarios, and coordinate work with multiple engineering teams to continually build out and improve the capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technical and statistical concepts, as well as an effective relational and communicative presence.

• Leads efforts with Supply Chain leadership to establish, own, and execute a product strategy
• Coordinate with other TPOs and DevOps teams to ensure product features and dependencies are shared and understood.
• Serves as the final authority representing the customer’s interests in sprint backlog prioritization and requirements discussions, setting all priorities for the team in alignment with the business stakeholder roadmap(s).
• Applies comprehensive knowledge of machine learning and forecasting models and concepts
• Ensures that the product delivers and maintains a high degree of uptime, security, and quality.
• Partners with DTT engineering teams, SC data scientists, and Supply Chain demand planners
• Communicates with internal customers and presents complicated information in a digestible manner.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Agile development approaches and techniques
• Experience with technical systems, data structures and languages
• Experience with forecasting methodologies, data science, or machine learning concepts
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
• Full understanding of separation of duties between Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Team roles in Scrum
