Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as “relief roles” in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However, you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

It also provides a lone-worker monitoring service to ensure the safety of Sanctuary employees who are entering people’s homes as part of their job on a daily basis.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Proven experience of administration relating to customer service and complaints
  • Proven experience of effective communication at all levels

We’re united in working together to help customers on their pathways for independence, and our people are the single, biggest influence on our success.

We’ve also been awarded Investors in People Gold status for the second time – because we value our people and have a strong focus on inclusion, teamwork, and empowerment.

We’re committed to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment where you can grow and thrive. And like our customers, we know everyone is different, and we’ll support you to be your best self.
