About the Function

Given the carve-out and the new strategic journey, ofi is keen to recruit senior Technology leadership with transformation credentials who can play a critical role in driving the IT and digital agenda within the company working in partnership with the business to facilitate, educate, challenge, and help create a technology focus that accelerates ofi’s growth through innovation strategy. 

ofi is looking to the future, driving the next wave of value creation across the organization, and specifically how best to define and embed an IT and digital strategy that can have a tangible impact on the organization including farmers, suppliers, communities, and customers, with a core focus on Procurement and Traceability. 

About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Digital Products – Traceability is responsible to provide leadership in digital product management, project/program governance, technical product design/delivery, solutions development, business transformation, process improvement, and global team leadership across all ofi Traceability apps and technology.
They will be expected to define and deliver complex technology programs and customer-focused Traceability digital product solutions in cross-functional collaboration using Agile approaches.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Continually analyze the Traceability apps ecosystem, markets, trends, competitive landscape and user requirements to keep ofi digital Traceability strategy at the cutting-edge
• Conceptualize, launch and optimize a portfolio of inter-connected and complementary Traceability apps, features, experiments to create a better ofi customer experience
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines and the Business to build innovative inter-connected app roadmaps that solve the overall needs of the Business and Customers
• Responsible for the digital products strategy for Traceability and ensuring implementation of strategic priorities across a portfolio of app backlogs to ensure the development teams a greater than the sum of their parts and can produce most digital value in ofi’s Traceability mission. 
• Act as a key linking pin between ofi’s “business” strategy in Traceability and what manager’s are prioritising for development team ensuring in different app streams.
• Identifying new technologies or over-arching improvements across the existing Traceability portfolio that will help improve accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction with ofi
• Lead the generation of comprehensive Traceability app portfolio wide project plans, including cross-app scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, to ensure successful project commencement
• Provide guidance to team members to encourage setting of realistic timelines, budgets and scopes of works within individual Traceability app streams
• Manage multiple apps and tech project streams at once
• Coordinate with stakeholders to establish and maintain strong working relationships so they can turn to you for advice and any issue escalation
• Communicate cross-app statuses, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members, in a clear and timely manner.

About you

Experience

• Strong level of experience in traceability and/or digital origination app conception and management 
• 10+ years in digital product development leadership 
• Global team leadership experience
• Highly certified in SCRUM, PMP, CSM Professional or similar
