Global Innovation Manager

Job Purpose 
You will oversee strategically important and highly visible long-term innovation projects for our Decorative Paints business as well as leverage and promote potential cross BU short term innovation opportunities. This will include taking responsibility for the innovation roadmap process with a focus on long term innovation delivery to shape the future of our deco business and brands.

Job Responsibilities 
•    Lead the deco global long term innovation process including taking responsibility for briefing the R&D Innovation Group (IG) for all deco categories and focusing on the scoping element of global projects.
•    Lead the definition, scoping and management of relevant global/multi BU Innovation projects.
•    Manage cross functional teams to deliver Global / Multi BU Innovation projects.
•    Manage the Global Gate Review Sessions.
•    Ensure excellent application of project management process, including global KPI definition and measurement.
•    Manage and engage key stakeholders and partner with key functions like R&D and digital.
•    Lead and develop one direct report.

Job Requirements 
•    Master’s degree or equivalent qualification 
•    Experience in Marketing, Business, or similar field
•    Substantial functional experience at senior level in either Marketing or similar field with additional experience Product or Category Management.
•    Experience of early-stage innovation till launch of a new product/ service in the market.
•    Able to lead diverse (cross functional/Country) groups, including outside agencies.
•    Strong project manager.
