Job Purpose
As a Product Development Chemist in Fouling Control, you will play a crucial role in directing and supporting the testing and support of existing product range and technology, while gaining a fundamental understanding of essential coating attributes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver solutions that enable products to meet market requirements and supports the needs of the business.
Job Responsibilities
• Uses best practice/past solutions to design, develop, carry-out, evaluate & interpret experiments.
• Test new and replace existing raw materials, if relevant by consulting colleagues and by studying related projects.
• Evaluate and optimize cost / performance properties of recipes.
• Support Production by solving issues.
• Contribute to test method development.
• Collate & report results.
• Make recommendations for next steps & communicate key results to colleagues.
• Work safely & comply with legal & company regulations.
Job Requirements
• PhD, Masters or BSc degree or equivalent, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Committed to following processes & procedures.
• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
• Understands the importance of keeping a safe working environment.
