BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Sales Steering Manager – 2 year Fixed Term Contract. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
BMW Group Financial Services UK established it’s Multi-Make Retail trading style ‘ALPHERA Financial Services’ in 2006, to support and compliment the BMW Group’s ambitious growth in its retail finance business. Since establishing, ALPHERA Financial Services has seen significant growth with annual New Business Volumes of almost £2bn and a Network of almost 1,000 Partners. The Sales Steering function is fundamental in day-to-day operations of the ALPHERA business, acting as the main conduit between the ALPHERA Partner Network, the ALPHERA Business Development Managers and the wider BMW Group Financial Services business.
The Sales Steering Manager is critical to ensuring the ALPHERA New Business Volume remains sustainable to the overall business through devising and delivering strategies to support the smooth operation of those key highly impacted business areas. Specific focus on business efficiencies and business enhancements is vital in making ALPHERA easier to do business with, whilst also bolstering the ALPHERA proposition in the UK Marketplace. The role holder must be an excellent relationship builder, strong communicator and able to lead others.
What awaits you?
On occasion the role holder will support and deputise for Business Development Manager’s; physically on region but only as appropriate given locations; more commonly from the office, by telephone.
The role holder may also undertake additional activities as defined by the Head of Sales Steering, Pricing & Channel Development this could include, but isn’t limited to: attending/running committees, deputising for team members, owning other key business topics.
