We are looking for a Facilities Technician
The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resource, ensuring best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives, energy efficiency playbook and facility policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Manage the Facilities Team
- Undertake facility improvements and repairs
- Co-ordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedure
- Monitor and manage facility service contracts
- Raise purchase orders PO’s
- Plan and implement facility improvements as aligned with Lear’s Energy Efficiency Playbook
- Develop and manage a preventative program and manage projects
- Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for any facility projects
- Monitor & manage energy usage
- Ensure facility compliance to Lear’s directives, site procedures and all statutory inspections to comply with relevant legislations
- Lead quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
- Respond to any Quality / facility investigations
- Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance team where applicable.
Key Skills and Qualification:
- Project & Contractor Management.
- Skilled in overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors.
- Holds an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety).
- Experienced in managing facilities and optimizing resources. Facilities Management Level 3
- Good communicator
