We are searching for a candidate to either be located at our San Antonio, TX.
Position Description Summary:
The Learning & Development Coordinator will be an essential part of the Tower Semiconductor Talent Development/HR team. This role will work with US Learning & Talent Development and will be responsible to support all of the logistical and administrative work needed to ensure online/instructor-led learning programs run successfully. This role will independently manage all training coordination activities as assigned. We are looking for a team player with enthusiasm for creating impactful learning experience and a genuine interest in the field of Talent Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Please list in order of importance):
Learning & Development:
Coordinates training logistics to include scheduling classes (in-person and virtual), setting up trainings, preparing class rosters, sending pre-work, and reserving rooms/ audiovisual equipment for classes.
Assists with maintaining records of training/instructional activities and evaluating the effectiveness of courses/programs in the LMS.
Assists with assigning compliance training and generating training status reports.
Assists in preparing infographics for organizational communications and training related processes.
Answer employee questions, troubleshoots problems for users, and collaborate with other members of talent development/HR team when necessary.
Assist with coordination support for employee training requests, needs assessments, tuition reimbursement, new hire onboarding.
Works with L&D team to help design, develop, update, and implement training and presentation materials.
Researches and identifies vendors/speakers for training sessions; requests quotes for services and submits to procurement.
Working Environment:
Assignment Complexity – Strong work ethic, multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail is required. Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting tools and learning management system to accomplish tasks is required
Accountability – Provides support to US Talent Development & HR Function
Impact of Decisions – Daily decisions have an impact on training logistics, schedules and communication.
Working Relationships – Works closely with the Talent Development/HR team members and communicates with local Tower Semiconductor Employees
Scope – Training coordination, logistics, communication etc.
Working conditions –Normal office conditions. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
