HR Talent Acquisition Assisistant (PT) at Rosecrance

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Intermediate Windows-based skills including, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Google Chrome, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of HRIS Systems preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels within the organization
  • Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate experience of general office procedures and practices
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Work hours prescribed by the Talent Acquisition Manager and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. 
  2. Provide office support services for the Talent Acquisition Team.
  3. Answer, respond or filter incoming phone calls and emails for the Talent Acquisition Team.
  4. Attend to general correspondence, filing and mail for team and department.
  5. Oversee pre-employment eligibility process
    1. Conduct background checks
    2. Conduct employment and professional or personal reference verifications
  6. Arrange physical & drug screens
  7. Oversee the on-boarding of new employees
  8. Manage DCFS process including monthly reporting.
  9. Assist with general correspondence, filing and mail for team and department.
  10. Assist with organizing and maintaining designated departmental records on the R drive or in paper form.
  11. Assist with establishing, organizing, maintaining, and auditing personnel files for all employees.
  12. Maintain accurate records and tracking of employee related information.
  13. Assist with maintaining various departmental databases and generate reports from those systems as requested.
  14. Maintain the Rosecrance Intern files
  15. Conduct backgrounds checks on potential interns
  16. Crosstrain on HR Assistant duties to act as backup
  17. Attend meetings and trainings as designated.
  18. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
  19. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
  20. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Shift Schedule: Can be flexible based on candidate's needs, but must fall within business hours of Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Type: Part-time (16 hours/week)

Pay: Based on education, experience, and credentials

  • Starting pay HS/GED - $18/hr.
