Purpose of Position The position entails the maintenance and repair of various extrusion and bakery equipment, encompassing tasks such as troubleshooting breakdowns, conducting routine servicing, and participating in enhancement initiatives.The ideal candidate should possess proficient skills in both mechanical and electrical domains, with additional PLC and inverter expertise considered advantageous. Self-reliance, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively, whether independently or within a team setting, are essential attributes. Shift Schedule:This follows a 12-hour shift pattern, alternating between days and nights on a 3-on/3-off/2-on/2-off rotation. You will have weekends off every other week and only 5 scheduled night shifts within a 4-week cycle. Experience and Skills: -A recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).-Computer skills (A knowledge of Excel, word, outlook, etc…)- IET wiring regulations (18th edition).-Previous knowledge and use of an automated Maintenance system.- IPAF licence (3a), although training can be provided if required.
