Job Purpose:
BTIG seeks a qualified individual to serve as a key collaborator, possessing a comprehensive understanding of Financial Management and Reporting. This role is based in New York City and reports to the COO. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and organized. A strong strategic thinker with an innate ability to influence across business lines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the annual business planning and review process, including close monitoring and analysis of actual versus budget variance drivers and business performance throughout the fiscal year.
Work with the firm’s CFO & COO to prepare daily/monthly business line reporting and metrics
Partner with management to prepare and present quarterly and bespoke management presentations
Liase with technology to implement systems and automation of reporting & metrics
Provide ad hoc information to the CEO, COO, and CFO as deemed necessary
Requirements & Qualifications:
15+ years of applicable experience
Public accounting experience required; Broker-Dealer experience preferred
Experience with preparation of SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q), or related comparable reporting requirements
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
CPA Preferred
Compensation:
BTIG offers competitive compensation and is required by law to include an estimate of the salary range for each role. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
The current base salary range for this role is $250,000-300,000k per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
