THURSDAY APRIL 25TH 10AM-1:30PM...at 74 KENSINGTON AVE.  STATEN ISL.    FULL & PART TIME DSP POSITIONS for MULTIPLE STATEN ISL. RESIDENCES      7AM-3PM and 3PM-11PM SHIFTS.....DRIVER LICENSE REQUIRED
OVERNIGHT SHIFTS 11PM-8AM .....DRIVERS LICENSE NOT REQUIRED                  FREE FAMILY MEDICAL INSURANCE and PAID TRAINING!
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.                                       

AHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire Full & Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their STATEN ISLAND residences. The starting pay rate is between $17-$17.36 per hour depending on driving status and goes to $18-$18.36 per hour after six months.

• The oversight of all safety and health considerations
• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
• Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

Qualifications

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED, highly preferred.
