MANHATTAN DSP JOB FAIR with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! $18.54 - $19/HR.

THURSDAY MAY 2ND 10AM-1PM.....AT 126 EAST 126th ST.  in MANHATTAN

FULL and PART-TIME DSP POSITIONS at MANHATTAN ICF RESIDENCE

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.

AHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire Full and Part-Time DSP's for the following shifts at their Dickson-Goodman ICF residence.                                                                DAY SHIFTS - 8am-4pm and 7am-3pm.....DRIVERS REQUIRED                                            EVENING SHIFTS - 2pm-10pm and 3pm-11pm.....DRIVERS REQUIRED                            OVERNIGHT SHIFTS - 11pm - 9am....DRIVERS NOT REQUIRED

The pay rate for all shifts is between $18.54-$19 per hour depending on driving status and shift. • The oversight of all safety and health considerations
• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
• Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

Qualifications

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a Must!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• Driver license needed for day and evening positions, NOT overnight positions.
• High school education/GED preferred.
