Description
Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, the Underwriting Strategy Lead will be responsible for providing financial and strategic insights to drive performance across the Underwriting function . Working with the CUO and Head of Cyber you will be develop, allocate and track KPI’s and provide the relevant MI to leaders and senior management. As a key member of the Underwriting leadership team you will be responsible for building and driving high performance teams and for embedding CFC’s core values and inclusive culture across those teams.About the role
- Identify, allocate and track KPI’s across all underwriting functions
- Provide regular and ad-hoc MI packs to management and senior executives
- Supports Head of Cyber and CUO in reviews of appropriate levels of governance and controls in place for successful delivery of strategic plan, budget, including identifying updates and critical moments of inflection
- Support the development and implementation of a more data-driven underwriting approach
- Enhance and refine data driven decisions to maximise for profitable growth.
- Collaborating with Performance Management to enhance efficiencies
- Support the CUO and Heads of in pin-pointing and executing activities aligned to the achievement of continued profitability, successful growth and operational efficiencies
About you
- Extensive experience in developing informative MI packs and dashboards
- Highly quantitative individual with previous experience of developing and implementing relevant KPI’s across Underwriting teams
- Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to build strong internal working relationships across departments.
- Ability to interpreting complex data and drawing out insights for business growth and optimization.
- Experience delivering KPIs, measurable output and financial results.
