Join Our Team as a Site Services Lead Engineer at Valeo Foods UK - Cleckheaton Site!
Are you a skilled engineer looking to take on a new challenge? Look no further! We're seeking a Multi-Skilled Site Services Lead Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our confectionary production facility.
About the Role: As the Site Services Lead Engineer, you'll be a key player in our operational team, ensuring optimum asset availability. You'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager, providing cover in their absence and driving improvements in reliability and efficiency. With a strong focus on Health & Safety, you'll maintain high standards and oversee compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boiler maintenance and function testing
- Compliance management (PSSR, LOLER, Legionella)
- Effluent management and water network compliance
- Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Utility meter readings and contractor control
- Management of Engineering Services team and 5S strategy
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Engineering qualification with apprenticeship
- HACCP, GMP adherence knowledge
- Electrical skills/understanding
- Basic pipework knowledge and safe isolation RA for pressurised systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and 5S responsibilities
