The Role: Graduate R&D Technologist
Are you a 'foodie' with a passion for creative innovation? As a Graduate R&D Technologist, you'll be at the forefront of developing new snack sensations from concept to process handover. Based at our Norwich or Gateshead site, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure every product meets our stringent quality standards, safety regulations, and cost targets. Plus, you'll be the guardian of the critical path, ensuring creations are delivered on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products in Snacks (branded and retailer own brand) from concept to process handover
- Manage people, systems, and processes effectively
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality and safety
- Support NPD team, lending expertise to process and packaging Food departments
- Check product artwork with GoProof, ensuring pixel-perfect details
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or similar
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK
