Accountabilities/Duties:
- Prepares patient meals per order following recipes and safety practices.
- Adjusts recipe size based on the number servings being prepared.
- Completes preparation from a pull-guide.
- Prepares meals for café including batch cooking.
- Prepares meals for catered events.
- Stores freezer items.
- Trials new recipes and make adjustments for quality and quantity.
- Completes taste test items.
- Completes assigned cleaning per schedule.
- Communicates with the aides for patients, café and catering to maintain the timeliness and quality of meals and food items.
- Communicates with co-workers regarding meals, recipes, timing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year food service cooking experience preferred.
