What you'll be doing:  🗓

• Develop new and maintain existing features and functionalities for the platform to process and present vast amounts of analytics data.
• Develop new and maintain existing backend processes that consume external APIs and process and manipulate data.
• Help to configure and maintain the infrastructure that runs our applications.
• Implement improvements to the existing user interface, as well as the wider codebase.

What you'll need: 🧰

• Extensive experience with Python ~ 3/4 years, we are after a mid level engineer.
• Sound understanding of APIs and large datasets
• Experience with core web technologies
• Commercial knowledge of AWS services including EC2 & ECS, RDS (MySQL & PostgreSQL), Lambda, S3 and Athena

Nice to haves: 🧁

• Understanding of machine learning and natural language processing
• Experience with large language models
• Experience of media technologies

New team

This role along with two other hires will form our first Scrum, we are a small and mighty outfit, we are growing and you will make a considerable contribution to our group and roadmap.

Hybrid at FunnelFuel

We are moving to new offices near Waterloo but open to people working remotely for the most part.

Cadence will be once a month or every quarter, whatever benefits the team being together.

If you want to head in more, it wont be a problem!

Interview process

• Recruiter screen ~ 20 mins
• First stage ~ 30 / 45 mins with VP - Engineering
• Second stage ~ 60 mins - Technical discussion
• Final stage - 30 mins with Chief Product Officer
