Role purpose:
We are looking for a Director to operate as an SME on our Commodity Trading Data & Analytics team. Our dedicated oil and gas sector teams are located around the world and deliver research and consulting projects based on our assessment and valuation of thousands of individual assets. Together we work with a range of clients including national and major oil companies, operators, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity funds, and institutional investors. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to make an impact.
You will contribute to strategic priorities within the greater Commodity Trading Data & Analytics team. You will be accountable for supporting our sales organisation as a subject matter expert as well as in providing your strategic guidance, helping us shape, grow and deliver our offerings in the crude oil market space. A high level of quality in all operations in terms of client impact, integrity, and written word, are critical.
You will be accountable for collaborating effectively across the overall team, such that there is close alignment on cross-team or pan-sectoral issues, and client expectations are addressed.

About the role:
This position will be responsible for both commercial and operational support, enhancing and further developing our suite of asset and market products for physical supply and cargo trading relating to both crude and refined products. You will provide your near-term forward-looking insight into both crude and refined product markets, acting as a subject matter expert on oil markets.
This is a key role in developing new tools, data sets and insights that our customer-base will find useful. You will have the ability to further increase your analytical skills and knowledge as you work directly with the rest of the CTA and broader Commodities team.
