Job Description
About the job....
To manage and contribute towards developing all activity aimed at optimising and improving search performance through technical SEO & user experience. You will be working in a close-knit team responsible for delivering high-quality work for several reputable and successful multi-market brands.
You will be reporting in to the Technical SEO Manager.
About the work....
- Manage the delivery of technical and UX work to our clients, ensuring high standards are met
- Support and improve the process behind delivery of technical and UX tasks through automation
- Advise clients and internal stakeholders on the best long term and short term technical improvements
- Be reactive as and when client challenges arise, and design bespoke SEO solutions to said challenges
- Analyse wider industry changes and communicate how these both apply and affect client performance
- Work with the search leadership team to develop a new innovative products for technical SEO and UX
- Manage and support your direct reports’ career progression with training plans, appraisal goals and personal development plans
- Lead the delivery and presentation of work to clients, supported by your direct reports.
- Help facilitate a strong ‘team’ ethos and exhibit focused and positive team leadership
- Contribute to department meetings, and occasionally host deep-dive sessions for other members of the Performance team to learn from your teams work
- Generate case studies and award entries
- Work with the senior executives, and overseas teams to ensure delivery of work to clients
- Work with your director to put together roadmaps and support colleagues workload as and when necessary
- Work with internal teams outside of the performance team, building relationships to emphasize the importance of UX and technical SEO
- Agree on UX training roadmap with directors and executives to fill in gaps in knowledge amongst the team
Qualifications
- Great knowledge across all areas of technical SEO and the ability to articulate them clearly
- Confidently communicate and lead technical presentations and meetings, in tandem with putting together quality presentations in PowerPoint
- Adept in Excel and able to construct complex formulas to improve the automation of tasks within the team
- Proficient in utilising industry reporting, analysis and industry leading insight tools, such as Google/Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Deepcrawl (or similar), Data Studios etc.
Great if you have....
- Understanding and writing of different coding languages such as Python to support SEO tasks
- Understanding of UX principles and capability to perform user testing and research techniques to excellent standards
- Experience working on brands with a global presence and diverse multi-lingual teams, managing delivery and roll-out of technical changes across multiple markets i.e. hreflang
- Experience in working with APIs (such as Google’s) to automate technical SEO or UX tasks
- Working as part of a cross skilled team with experience in CRO, ASO, YouTube and Amazon Optimisation
- Exposure to conversion rate optimisation platforms i.e. Optimizely, Google Optimise & Adobe Target
- Proven demonstrable experience of managing and mentoring direct reports within the digital space
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and using this to create page mock-ups and wireframes to map the digital experience
- Familiarity with cloud solution services, databases and data engineering
- Good knowledge of broader digital spectrum, specifically paid search and social

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
