We’re looking for confident, ambitious consumer focussed Account Director, with experience in travel and tourism. Ideally from a larger agency, with a black book of travel contacts in the UK.
This role is to work solely on a tourism account, reporting into Associate Director, with an Account Executive and other team members to support. The role will be divided into UK press office activity, and global or EMEA campaigns. There will be some admin, but mostly directing other markets on reporting and working closely with the global team. This individual will be driven and entrepreneurial, with a passion for creative campaigns and securing editorials opportunities.
Lots of opportunity to travel for meetings, as well as hosting press trips .
Responsibilities include: Leading the day-to-day UK press office, and sporadically supporting on global creative campaigns. Being the day-to-day lead for the UK press office, pitching stories + features, coaching the team, meeting media, overseeing activity and proposing opportunities to the regional and UK clients.
Essentials: travel + tourism experience, open to travel to Middle East, hosted press trips with media, organised, passionate, media savvy, excellent UK media contacts, entrepreneurial, dedicated, organised.
Desirables: international hub experience, working with other countries, Middle Eastern experience (personal or professional)
