We’re looking for an experienced, consumer focussed Associate Director; a self-starter, who has extensive experience in travel and tourism. Ideally from a larger agency, with a black book of travel contacts in the UK.
This role is to work solely on one tourism account, reporting into the Director, with the support of an Account Director and Account Executive (team growing as needed). Leading the UK part of the account, this individual will be ambitious, driven and entrepreneurial, building and leading the UK account and press office, allowing the Director to focus more on European-hub and global work.
Responsibilities include: Overseeing and growing the UK function for this Global client. Leading the UK account team, reporting to/and keeping the Director and regional-lead Managing Partner up to date on results and opportunities. Managing budgets, spotting editorial and paid opportunities in the UK, liaising with other market teams on connected campaign, (at times) leading global creative campaigns.
Essentials: travel + tourism experience, open to travel to Middle East, hosted press trips with media, organised, passionate, media savvy, excellent UK media contacts, entrepreneurial, dedicated, organised.
Desirables: international hub experience, working with other countries, Middle Eastern experience (personal or professional)
