Job Description
12 month FTC.
The Manager, Europe Interchange Pricing Strategy will support projects related to Visa's interchange fee strategy and/or broader corporate initiatives through collaboration with business lines and functional areas across Visa’s Europe region. The role will be focused on interchange fees, but fits within the Pricing and Interchange function within Visa with the opportunity to be involved across both elements.
The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills, undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities.
What we expect of you, day to day.
Manage cross-functional initiatives providing management and co-ordination for both pricing and interchange strategy and development.
Partner with multiple teams, including Merchant Sales & Acquiring, Product, Client Services and Finance to gather insights, analyse trends and understand P&L impacts in order to utilise interchange and pricing to capture incremental volume and revenue.
Use data to evaluate opportunities, developing rigorous, fact-based quantitative analysis to support recommendations, ensuring strategic and financial soundness. This requires utilizing detailed knowledge of interchange fees, Visa transactional data and mathematical reasoning.
Support the development and update of reports and dashboards to evaluate performance of interchange rates and business indicators.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
