About Your Role
Are you adept at working to sales targets? Are you a hunter, a self starter who thrives on being on the road to generate new business? Then this is the perfect role for you!

This is a remote based role, specifically covering the southern half of the UK, where you are responsible for driving consistent profitable growth by achieving sales objectives on the assigned customer portfolio. You will identify and visit customers, create pipelines, develop programs and deliver maximum sales volume. You clearly understand the needs of the customers and provide solutions that exceed their expectations.

Your Responsibilities
Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage and build relationships within the laundry, workwear industries and promotional market, in the southern half of the UK.

  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
  • Identify and onboard new customers
  • Analyze the marketplace and feedback important market and competitive information
  • Leverage strong customer relationships and regular communication in pursuing customer opportunities
  • Create and manage account strategies to deliver on sales goals to enable top-line growth and gain share, and maximize profitability
  • Increase revenue by achieving sales objectives in existing and new accounts
  • Reference in-depth knowledge of full range of Thermopatch & Avery Dennison solutions in partnering with customers to identify ideal product options and features
  • Lead the coordination of product development and sampling activities between the customer and our internal teams
  • Work closely with Customer Service teams to ensure the KPI’s are achieved 
  • Monitoring incoming orders and ensuring these are fulfilled effectively
  • Acting as the key interface between the customer and relevant divisions
  • Carry out training for internal teams and training for customers
  • Arranging events and attending industry shows 
  • Working with the marketing team to provide the tools / assets to help facilitate sales 
  • Ownership of customer reporting

Qualifications

  • Practical sales experience with quota responsibility, market development, account planning, customer engagement, etc. 
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience
  • Strong product knowledge of heat transfers, heat seal machines, and garment labeling is preferred
  • Significant apparel industry and large retailer experience preferred
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts
  • Excellent financial skills and business acumen
  • Skilled in conducting territory analysis and planning
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues
  • Strong networking abilities and interpersonal skills 
  • Flexible approach that may require you to work outside of normal hours, such as trade shows and conferences
