Job Description

Product Manager: 2 teams - Vault and Secure Storage

Checkout.com is seeking a Product Manager to lead our Vault and Secure Storage teams. This role will enable a seamless data management experience for our customer’s sensitive data. The successful candidate will provide cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, to remove complexity away from merchants when dealing with sensitive data. They will establish a robust foundation and drive scaling, optimization and uniformization of data orchestration. Daily tasks include understanding stakeholders’ pain points, driving prioritisation for product development, and developing new capabilities for our customers.

Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are going 3 times per week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). We’ve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space, at the same time that we build globally and for scale. During your days at the office, we offer amazing snacks, breakfast and lunch options in all of our locations.

Qualifications

How you’ll make an impact

• Build out a strategy for Vault and Secure storage at Checkout.com, including how we optimise our existing products for the increased scale and complexity Checkout manages on behalf of our merchants.

• Be an expert for the orchestration of sensitive data, informing our policy and strategy to offer our merchants a best-in-class solution.

• Drive the platformization of Vault for Checkout, enabling scaled teams to seamlessly integrate with data orchestration solutions.

• Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders:  buy-in and collaboration to generate momentum for mobile products.

• Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with cross-functional roadmaps that relate to the mobile world.

• Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers, be them end-customers or developers, and businesses themselves. 

• Build strong relationships across your network, particularly with engineering. You foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.

What we’re looking for

• 3-5 years of product management experience.

• Experience working in platform API. Experience in compliance is a bonus but not a requirement.

• Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.

• Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and can balance future opportunities with immediate needs.

• End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product.

• Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.

• Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
