OVERVIEW

Responsible for managing the Home Centre Operations in the territory

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop & Implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processes Responsible to prepare and thereafter achieve the annual Warehousing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods including peak periods. Ensure inventories are accurate by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilizing help of the warehouse team. Control damages by ensuring compliance to stacking norms and defined material handling process. Identify any systems improvements and drive through recommendations for change. Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety records Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained, fit for purpose and working at full installed capacity. Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational metrics and customer demand Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times Drive a zero tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer deliverables are met fully.

Achieve operational KPI within the constraints of Budget, Local laws and Health and safety standards. Ensure optimum utilization of resources - Space, equipment and manpower



Requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Academic : BE / MBA in material management/warehouse management

Experience : 10-12 years in retail industrial warehouse preferably with a full/partial automation

Knowledge : Furniture industry background would be preferable

Skills/Abilities : Planning and Organizing

Decision making

Domain expertise

Communication skills

Interpersonal skills

RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to : Head Home Operations, Riyadh

Supervises : Managers, Supervisors

Liaises with : Retail managers, Delivery managers, National head, Retail and supply chain
