Valard Construction LP is seeking qualified Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technician to join our team at Southwestern Ontario (London, Chatham, Windsor). We are looking for self-motivated, team player, dedicated individuals who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard’s projects.
Requirements
- Qualified Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technician.
- DZ license minimum, preference given to AZ license.
- 25kV Rubber Glove.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Working at Heights.
- Familiar with operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment.
- Experience in maintenance and construction of distribution lines, coupled with the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Willing to travel and work extended hours.
- Safety oriented.
- Familiar with climbing both wood and steel structures.
- Experience/training in craning and rigging.
- All other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or Senior Valard Team member.
- Positive Attitude and good work ethic.
