Responsibilities:
Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
Flexibility and ability to work 12-hour shifts
Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Skills and Experience include but are not limited to:
Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes
Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis
Intermediate knowledge of algebraic concepts
Confirmed ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate equipment problems and address root cause
Proven ability to properly use common hand tools
Intermediate understanding of wafer sort equipment and processes
Intermediate data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
Intermediate knowledge of test and calibration equipment (O-scopes and DMMs)
Confirmed ability in multi-tasking complex projects
Basic understanding of SPC principles
Validated ability to communicate and present effectively
Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates in an electronic related field and/or military training and/or military experience and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates in an electronic related field and/or 5 years of semiconductor experience.
