Autodesk is looking for someone to lead our Responsible Procurement/Sourcing program to the next level. In this role, you will create opportunities for diverse suppliers, inspire suppliers to reduce their emissions, and connect the dots, so our business partners are passionate about this initiative too. We want to achieve this by using cool technology, automation, and AI. You will report directly to the Director of PPO Automation and Programs and work closely with many different teams.. You will work remotely, but you must be available in Pacific time zone and open to travel up to 10% to Portland and San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing responsible sourcing strategies, objectives, and key results to meet our Scope 3 and supplier diversity goals
Supplier engagement and collaboration - build strong relationships with suppliers, connecting diverse suppliers to opportunities at Autodesk, and partnering with suppliers to track emissions and set reduction targets
Work closely with suppliers to provide guidance, support, and training on responsible sourcing requirements
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, such as Business Partners, Sustainability, Sourcing, and industry organizations, in order to drive the responsible sourcing program
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities for diverse suppliers and drive responsible sourcing
Responsible for reporting, collecting, and analyzing data, preparing reports, and communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders related to supplier diversity - Tier 1 and Tier 2 and scope 3 - emissions, CDP reporting status, SBT status, and climate maturity by supplier
Continuous improvement - drive continuous improvement in responsible sourcing practices is an ongoing effort
Monitor industry trends, evaluate new technologies and best practices, and implement initiatives to enhance the organization's responsible sourcing efforts
Training - Lead training initiatives across all internal stakeholders to educate them on responsible sourcing requirements, programs, and systems
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years leading a supplier diversity or sustainable purchasing program or managing significant aspects of the program in a corporate environment
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Master's or MBA preferred but not required
Experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders
Strong data analytic and dashboarding skills
Solid knowledge of supply chain/procurement
Love of technology and data
Established relationships with external supplier organizations like NMSDC, WBENC, Tech:Scale

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,630. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
