What You Will Do:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) client is responsible for providing innovative solutions and processes to safeguard U.S. transportation systems and the traveling public. The client’s capabilities include assessing intelligence and threats related to transportation security; managing all TSA enrollment, vetting, credentialing, and prescreening programs; developing and coordinating multimodal transportation security policy and programs; and strengthening operational capabilities to meet the TSA mission. The client is tasked with leading these alignment efforts to ensure mission goals are accomplished in collaboration and coordination with stakeholders across the agency.
The TSA Project Lead will lead the TSA client with strategic initiatives and operational activities at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This position will be responsible for managing senior-level client relationships, executing strategic planning initiatives, managing stakeholder engagement and communications, and overseeing the operational components within a TSA Front Office.
This role will lead the necessary support to execute key TSA functions aligned to strategic priorities and initiatives. Duties include:
Managing the day-to-day project activities and leading the organization, execution, and quality review of all project efforts
Developing, executing, and managing work products, project tasks, and deliverables while ensuring on time-delivery, technical accuracy, and adherence to quality standards
Managing the Task Order financials, oversee staffing, provide status updates, and assume additional program management responsibilities
Providing strategic planning facilitation
Analyzing and assessing the client's workforce landscape
Supporting emerging initiatives, to include developing the tools necessary to efficiently implement, communicate, and maintain current and future initiatives
Developing and managing strategic communications to deliver mission-driven messaging through the correct channels, to the right people, at the right time through storyboarding, strategy framing, communications branding, campaign development, and graphic design
Organize client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas, meeting presentations and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking and following up on action items
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
Bachelor's Degree
SIX (6) or more years of experience in consulting, project management and/or analysis and communications
Experience in strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications
Possess the project management and organizational skills to manage client relationships and a team of professionals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Direct experience and fluency with Microsoft Suite 360 products
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET TSA security clearance
Master’s Degree
Prior Federal consulting experience
Change management, facilitation, or project management certification
Experience conducting organizational assessments, developing strategic plans, and making recommendations for improvement
