Architect – Data Governance

What you’ll achieve
In this role we are looking for people who are passionate about data and the possibilities of leveraging it to power intelligent, insightful, and impactful outcomes. You will be working with some of the best minds and talents in the data space including business stakeholders, architects, application teams, privacy, security, governance etc. We believe in empowering our teams and managers to take end to end ownership of the outcomes with the highest focus on quality, stability, security and customer satisfaction.
You will:
- Evaluates business needs and creates software and hardware solution blueprints, leverage internal environments to create tables for reporting with integration into Alation and Business Intelligence (BI) analytics tools
- Collaborate closely with Data Product Managers and Solution Architects to define use cases and measurable business metrics; understand integrations and warehouse provisioning
- Familiar with multiple data structures and tools for moving and combining data through different environments
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs software according to Dell IT standards, policies and procedures
- Should be a technical lead for the team with functional knowledge of business processes is required

Essential Requirements
- 10+ years large-scale data warehouse and/or data engineering experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical or solution architecture role
- Hands on experience with data classification, data security, data governance, data quality, data architecture, data APIs/microservices
- Strong communication, able to synthesize complex topics in a clear and concise message
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
- Corporate data strategy experience working with lake house solutions
