Control Room Solutions provides the backbone for emergency response in the UK & Europe. Our applications help 999 operators respond to calls from the public and dispatch out nearby responders, enabling the right response when every second counts.As our solution has grown from a small startup to one of the leading offerings for Fire & Police agencies, our customers now trust us to solve more of their problems. We are building new products to increase the safety and efficiency of emergency response agencies, and ultimately to help our customers save lives.
Job Description
The main responsibility will be to develop, test and deliver next-generation dispatching solution within client-server architecture and improved UI/UX experience.
We are seeking an experienced Senior C# Engineer with strong database systems knowledge to join our team. The Senior C# Engineer will lead the development of software solutions that meet business requirements, as well as designing and implementing architectures that support these solutions. The main responsibility will be to develop statistic & reporting solutions for our next-generation dispatching system.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of software solutions, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
Design and implement database architectures that support software solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Work closely with business stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements and develop specifications for software solutions.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
Basic Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on database management.
Experience with statistical database architecture.
Experience with system design, architecture and optimization.
Experience with EntityFramework (EF)
Experience with C# and .NET preferred.
Strong database skills, including significant experience with SQL
Experience with NoSQL database.
Knowledge of security aspects.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to have:
Experience with Softswitch preferred eg. FreeSWITCH or Asterisk, SIP, and WebRTC could be a benefit
