Role Overview:
This Programme Manager is a new role as part of the JLR team. This role oversees the delivery and project management of all work predominantly going through the DX (Digital Experience) team and will also be working with the House of Brands Global Programme Management team. They are responsible for ensuring that... projects hit required milestones and gateways, mitigating and escalating when needed and working in partnership with Account Leads to ensure successful delivery to JLR. The Programme Manager works closely with the Business Directors and Senior Launch Operation Managers to be aware of upcoming nameplate and non-nameplate projects. They will also work with the other Programme Managers and Resource Directors to ensure the wider teams are aware of when work will hit across departments.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY FOCUS – The Programme Manager will:
• Take ownership of project delivery for DX Global projects, escalating risk and mitigating accordingly.
• Create and manage project plans.
• Report, track and manage project milestones and gateways.
• Work with the wider Accenture Jaguar Land Rover Team including Account Management, Resourcing, Project Management and Production teams to communicate key deadlines and future project forecasts.
• Work closely with the Business Director and communicate project health, planning and risk planning
• Lead weekly Brief Triage meeting as part of Global team.
• Input into Demand Capacity forecast and own Brand Global programme plan.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT - The Programme Manager will:
• Lead the project management and delivery of DX Global projects.
• Key stakeholder for Demand Capacity forecasting and sharing of projects with resourcing teams.
• Manage and update reporting dashboard that allows senior stakeholders an overview of project health by project milestone/gateway.
• Attend and steer client/agency briefings, becoming the “go to person” for Global timelines across DX
• Manage project milestones and gateways in accordance with the implemented roadmap and RACI principles.
• Escalate risk to delivery or project health, providing mitigation plans when required.
ACCOUNTABILITY- The Programme Manager will:
• Own the delivery for DX Global projects.
• Owner of Brand Global Project Plans identifying project steps and gateways
• Monitor out of scope situations and agree appropriate action with JLR Delivery Lead.
• Set clear expectations and work with the team to deliver on Accenture Song and JLR priorities and deliverables
• Proactively identify risks to delivery, escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk and impact to SLA’s.
• Manage risk and provide mitigation plans to limit Stage Gate and reveal deliverables impact.
• Own and manage JLR Global Triage meeting.
• Work with Resource Directors and PM team to ensure accurate resource for projects and any over capacity is escalated accordingly.
COLLABORATION- The Programme Manager will:
• Key stakeholder for QBR Demand Forecast process, inputting into timelines and when work will land across the agency.
• Actively strive to support and contribute to the output of the wider team and agency
• Keep all relevant departments informed about project status
• Attend BCB and relevant Brand Global sessions to input into project timings when required
• Establish and maintain strong relationships across Accenture Song as the go to person for project timelines
