PLC – Allen Bradley (primary), Siemens, Mitsubishi
HMI – Allen Bradley, EZ Automation
Manage all PLC and HMI programs.
Work with other Electrical Controls Engineers, Project Engineers, Process Engineers and maintenance to complete equipment improvement projects and troubleshoot equipment.
Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
Support production to decrease equipment downtime by troubleshooting of equipment to improve plant OEE%, Scrap, and Attainment.
Support deployment of plantwide deployment of MSCADA/Ignition system
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, and components.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Assist with the electrical requirements/improvements for capital equipment.
Participate in Growtth/Lean activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience. Controls experience is preferred.
1-5 years relevant manufacturing experience preferred
Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office, Teams)
Proven experience as a Process Engineer/Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with 2D/3D modeling. (Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks)
Skill and knowledge of basic hand tools.
Familiarity with quality control techniques, statistical process control (SPC), and relevant industry standards.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment to perform quality inspections.
Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies and processes.
Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
