The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of the building and facilities.
This role will be a full-time position based out of our Suwanee, GA office.
Work Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
What we’re looking for:
- Education:
- High School diploma, equivalent degree and/or Technical school preferred.
- Experience:
- 3 years applicable direct experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems is a plus.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Skills in mathematics and using MS Office desired.
- Strong communication skills.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
- Maintain building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
- Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as conveyors, doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
- Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.
- Answer security alarm calls as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
