Alcon is seeking a Practice Experience Manager to work in concert with Alcon Account Managers within an assigned area by partnering consultatively with Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) to achieve our mutually aligned and developed goals for growth, patient engagement, and outcomes. Focus areas for this role includes practice training and skills’ development, patient journey development to achieve growth objectives in the areas of our sophisticated products and solutions as well as driving a novel digital business innovation.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Work with Alcon Account Managers and District Managers to identify the highest potential customers to grow the business within the Vision Care product portfolio.
  • In accord with their Alcon counterparts and their target accounts, build and implement account level business plans for mutual success with doctor, patient and Alcon that meet and exceed co-developed sensible objectives.
  • Strategically lead prioritization of time and prioritization to improve targeting impact and return on investment for new technology launches across all territories.
  • Plan and complete pre-booked calls to be completed 4 days/week.
  • Grow sales by shifting provider behaviors and driving ECP/practice change initiatives.
  • Promote, install, and embed new digital health solutions with identified practices.
  • Implement marketing activities and promotions in order to increase sales growth.
  • Develop a highly structured District plan and strategy to increase overall market penetration by working with most impactful practices using specific solutions developed to grow sales through behavioral change, while demonstrating effective ability to hold others accountable for team results without direct authority.
  • Participate in and network with customers at conventions, educational events, etc. as required.
  • Schedule and implement in-office and out of office trainings and meetings.
  • Participate in District/Regional/National meetings.
  • Lead and prioritize time in order to most effectively achieve business results.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 2 years of Relevant Experience
  • Work hours: Salaried-Exempt
  • Travel Requirements: up to 60% within District
  • Relocation assistance: No
  • Sponsorship available: No

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Sales related consultative selling experience in medical device sales, medical sales, or business to business sales.
  • Strong technical product knowledge and strong digital technology knowledge preferred.
