CNC Programming through the use of Computer Aided Manufacturing Systems (CAM) to ensure accurate part production on Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines.
Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Manufacturing Engineering Programming function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of on-time NC programs to meet shop schedules and production plans. Provides cross-functional support for Design Engineering to improve part manufacturability.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for:
- Programming CNC machines using CAM software.
- Interfacing with machine operators and supervisors on machining problems.
- Working with supervisors and production control personnel in establishing priorities.
- Learning and understanding the capabilities of the various production machines to effectively program the CNC machines.
- Reading part drawings and translating them into Computer Numerical Code using CAM software.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have good communication skills in working with production workers, supervisors, and other management personnel.
- Be able to read and interpret drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Have knowledge of G-Code machine language.
- Have knowledge of CNC production machines.
- Have good computer skills.
- Have experience in machining processes and cutting tools.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in machining processes including the operation of CNC equipment.
