The primary objective of this position is to take responsibility for managing a team of Services Sales Directors to drive the achievement of sales strategy and related operational targets and profit margins for the MS portfolio of products. Their role is a combination of executive management, coaching and leadership activities, with the objective of enabling the MS function to achieve its strategic objectives and goals.
Directs a major part of the organisation's sales activities, such as a given channel, product line, major/strategic accounts, region or country. The sales executive's channel, product line, major/strategic accounts or region may... be global in scope or limited to a specific region or country. May develop sales strategies and sales volume forecasts for a major part of the sales function. Oversees worldwide channel sales, worldwide global accounts, and global sales/services for a major product or service line.Define an optimal sales force structure and manage the use of budgets.Drive the regional development and execution of the Group Services Product, Managed Services portfolio vision and roadmap.Increase region's adoption to global services, standards, and service architectures.Act as the interface between region GTM Sales Directors, Client Partners in the country, and region Product Development teams.Manage a team of sales directors who are accountable for ensuring the achievement of MS Sales targets.Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.Set aggressive account strategies for MS accounts and support the exploitation of revenue generation opportunities.Develop and ensure the execution of the sales strategy by making decisions that influence people, process and technology.Deep knowledge base on industry verticals as well as MS solutions and services.Substantial management and leadership skills and ability to think at a strategy level.Significant business financial skills. li>Knowledge in services industry, service delivery models, process improvements, consumption models and multiple MS Portfolio offers and GTM solution areas.Good knowledge in core Managed Service Portfolio offer artefacts, techniques, demos, tools and deliverables.Ability to understand customer viewpoint and customer service.Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
• Tertiary level – bachelor's with substantial experience; or post-graduate degree with significant experience in a leadership and management capacity.Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management and Integration.Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).Extensive experience with and understanding of the deliverables and value proposition of Managed Services within a product marketing context.Experience in coordinating sales individuals within a similar industry, dealing with MS portfolio of services.A good understanding of the vast range of IT Service Management and operations.Extensive client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.Extensive experience in relevant services and products and understanding of industry best practices.Extensive sales and client engagement experience.Extensive vendor relationship management to ensure an understanding of the vendor's products business and services positioning.Experience with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology (scale agile framework enterprise).Business development and pre-sales experience.In depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process, sales methodologies, tools and processes.Workplace type: Hybrid Working
