Join us as a Identity Access Management Analyst (IAMA)
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Identity Access Management Analyst (IAMA) to join our Information Security Management. In this role you will interfaces with peers within the ISM team and lines of business to share the corporate security vision and to solicit involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and collaboration. Will be required to work with business owners and managers to acquire and maintain the knowledge and understanding of access control requirements of the business line applications and to provide security support. The IAM Analyst is responsible for working with management to oversee and protect BBH information systems and computing environments by defining, implementing, and executing access management implementations, access privileges, control structures and resources.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Security access reviews (certifications) related to applications and business roles for assigned business lines/units.
Working with the business on entitlement (or role) compliance, adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
Performs assessments of suitability of access/roles at minimum annually
When application changes occur evaluate potential security risks and offer solutions
Work with business owners to establish metrics related to access control
Escalate related application issues that violate business policies
Work with business to make sure certifications are complete, thorough, and signed off by the appropriate business owner.
Responsible for understanding and responding to business needs and requirements as well as conveying security best practices.
Ensure control gaps are identified, escalated, and remediated.
Provide support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence
Project Management:
Ability to follow security project plans to support new systems and/or modifications to existing systems.
Working with project management team to better support the business through analysis of required project tasks and required IT security stance within the firm.
Information Security Leadership:
Be a SME for each business line application to be able to detect and point out potential for fraud or other security related issues that need remediation and create
Engage in ongoing communications with peers in technical development groups as well as the various business groups to ensure enterprise wide understanding of security goals, to solicit feedback and to foster co-operation
Provide consultation to the business on security policies and issues
Represent the security needs of the organization by providing security expertise and assistance on all IT projects
Manage the partnership with local security coordinators.
Develop and oversee the enforcement of IT security policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
Maintain business level knowledge of what are the key applications for each business area
Partner with system owners to ensure the integrity, availability and confidentiality of information residing in corporate databases, workstations, servers or being transmitted over the network.
Security Business Focus and Design:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors
Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security as per the RCA existing procurement processes
Working with AISM and Systems to monitor deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise’s security documents.
Operational Management:
Review requests for new systems or changes to existing systems and evaluate the impact to security.
Collaborate with internal AISM (Access & Identity Systems Management) team to ensure product compliance with business requirement
Collaborate with AISM Team on completion of ISM projects for accuracy, and quality standards are being met
Support of the Quality Control process and procedures as outlined by senior management is followed and fraud preventive measures are identified.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of ISM products and procedures to enhance security productivity and effectiveness.
Support of peer business managers to meet required attestation regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 plus years equivalent work experience
Experience in Identity Access management and relevant tools/best practices.
Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.
Experience with developing and deploying an Access Control Certification program.
Familiarity with Sailpoint IIQ
Working within the financial industry with security best practices.
Salary Range
$100,000 - $130,000 Jersey City, NJ
BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing.
