Your New Role..
The Manager of Owned (cross channel inventory) will manage national on-air, TVE and Digital promo inventory for all of WBD’s properties, including HGTV, Food, Discovery, TLC, Max, etc. The Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing promo inventory against key performance metrics. Within the SGM department, the Manager will report to the Director and work closely with colleagues from the retention, acquisition and data/tools disciplines. They will also interface with key contacts from other departments including Marketing, AdTech, and Research.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Manage detailed quarterly and weekly campaign planning for high volume of tune-in, DTC and TVE marketing priorities
Manage linear inventory forecasting and availability across portfolio using Nielsen, Lake 5 and linear optimizer data sets
Monitor inventory capacity levels and campaign delivery via internal systems and models and manage approvals for campaign changes requested by marketing
Develop digital display and TVE video inventory strategy for promo usage
Build and maintain performance dashboards to track marketing efforts across all platforms
Use a variety of proprietary tools to analyze and present campaign performance against internal ratings, revenue and subscription goals – both recommending and implementing optimizations
Oversee audience targeting strategy on linear and non-linear (TVE, DTC, vMVPD) platforms
Take on ad hoc projects and reporting requests assigned by management
Participate in streamlining and automating internal processes
Lead team of Strategists and Coordinators in executing corporate strategies
Assist leads with management, assessment, and development of direct reports
Qualifications & Experience…
BA/BS Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience in media inventory and/or analytics
Highly motivated, organized individual with strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively
Analytical and creative problem-solver with excellent data analysis skills
Proficient in MS Excel with ability to understand and maintain models, and to interpret large data sets
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present insights and recommendations clearly and concisely
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels
Strong knowledge of media planning at a cable/broadcast network or agency
Media math expertise across linear and digital metrics
Experience with cleaning and manipulating large data sets in Excel, Tableau and/or Google Sheets
Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (vlookup, macros, data modelling)
Understanding of Nielsen/Lake 5 ratings data and digital attribution models
Working knowledge of linear trafficking systems and digital ad servers a plus (i.e. Gabriel, Freewheel, Google AdManager, Oath)

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $62,790.00 - $116,610.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
