This role will be responsible for developing pay/time processes and SOP’s/WI. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications through advanced method’s and controls. Monitors KPI’s, audit controls and adherence to payroll legislation to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
Facilitate the review and governance of our global payroll setup and processes, and suggest best practices.
Organize changes to align, integrate, and harmonize our existing payroll service model.
Implement, maintain, and recommend Global payroll process improvements. Review/Update local payroll processes and develop documented standard operating procedures essential with for business continuity.
Apply Lonza Project Methodology to organize and deliver agreed improvements according to deadlines and targets
Supports Pay/Time Strategic Projects.
Prepares presentations and reports as assigned
Key requirements:
Willingness to travel to Manchester, UK one of our shared service centres on a quarterly basis
7+ years payroll experience
Some knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation (* Multi countries in EMEA)
Proven working experience pay/time applications
Strong analytical skills
Process mapping and mining preferred but not required. (Viso or similar applications)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly excel/powerpoint
Excellent client-facing and internal communication and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
