This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vet customer PO’s and create sales orders in ERP system. {E}
Create and maintain customer accounts, including asset & service order creation.
Work closely with Divisional resources in risk and legal departments, as required. {E}
Acknowledge customer requests and use critical thinking to resolve or reroute issues and provide timely feedback. {E}
Communicate internally with team members utilizing various communication channels, including Salesforce chatter, telephone, Teams, and email. {E}
Work with operations and quality staff to resolve quality issues; to include customer complaints, internal process issues, and supplier issues. {E}
Analyzes and monitors the use of all resources within the operations group to determine the efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and procedures and recommend adjustments as needed. {E}
Partner with material planning group to ensure supplier orders are placed timely and inventory limits are adjusted based on forecast. {E}
Manage incoming mail and distribute to the correct departments. {E}
Assist with tracking instrument order backlog. {E}
Participate in physical inventory counts. {E}
Track progress towards annual KPI goals set by management and identify opportunities to improve outcomes. {E}
3-5 years of combined experience in operations and a customer support related role.
Less than 5% travel - to other Hitachi offices.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

A result driven individual who can collaborate with other team members to complete tasks in a timely manner. Highly organized, self-motivated, and strong willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently with little supervision but maintain effective communication with management, internal staff, customers, and suppliers as needed.
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to create positive working relationships.
Strong analytic skills, problem solving, and business acumen.
Proficient in EXCEL and other Microsoft office applications
Experienced with MTE or similar SAP system.
Experience with Salesforce.
