Business Development Executive role to support our UK sales team. DEPT® are a pioneering, global tech and marketing agency. We help our clients stay ahead by producing some of the most progressive work in the world.
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the sales operations team and working closely with the UK marketing team, you will be responsible for achieving lead generation and new business targets by using a range of inbound and outbound sales tactics.
You will support the sourcing of new business leads and grow relationships with prospects on an ongoing and consistent basis, nurturing them into tangible opportunities in line with agreed targets. You will also be responsible for qualifying inbound and marketing qualified leads against specified criteria.
To be successful in this role, it is imperative to have an inquisitive, commercially focused mind. You must research to fully understand a prospect’s business, and build personalised engagement strategies that demonstrate DEPT®’s capabilities. As part of your role, you will also support events and have a friendly and consultative approach to selling.
You must be flexible in your communication approach, ask the right questions and network throughout a prospect’s company to reach the senior stakeholders. You will be consultative in your approach, brilliant at building relationships, and adept at nurturing relationships.
