Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Technical Specialist to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Chantilly, VA. Telecommuting is permitted. Will work at unanticipated end client sites throughout the U.S.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the following services supported by the team in a multitenancy environment: Active Directory (AD), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Virtualized Machines in Hyper-V and VMware running Windows OS (Includes Virtual Desktops and Servers).
- Create reports to be used for data analysis by the customer. This also includes producing server inventories, managing and reporting on certificates and reporting on several of the management systems in use by the team.
Salary Range: $148,379.10/year - $179,000.00/year (Salary range is for information purposes)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 6 years' experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
- Three (3) years of work experience in job offered, as an Engineer, or a related occupation.
- Experience of the following required:
- Windows Servers 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019
- VMware vSphere 4/5/6/7
- VMware Horizon 5/6/7/8
- Cyberark
- SCCM
- Powershell Scripting
- AZURE Administration

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
