YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Air Import Manager you will focus on operational processes, acting as the key contact with customers, supporting with customs clearance, confirming delivery requirements, and updating company records.
This is a Monday – Friday position 9am – 6pm with an hours lunchbreak.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will proactively monitor shipment progress, ensuring the customers are kept informed at every milestone of the process and any delays or issues are communicated in a timely manner. Using your exceptional customer service and communication skills you will build and develop relationships with your customers, dealing with customer requests and complaints. You will take the lead presenting and reporting on internal and external conferencing calls. As the Air Import Customer Service Coordinator you will support with financial processes ensuring all information including quotes or billing instructions are accurately in place for invoicing files.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be considered for this role you must have first-hand knowledge of how an import airfreight department works operationally. A strong working knowledge of CDS customs clearance procedures is preferred to help support customers and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You must be able to think on your feet and enjoy problem solving, experience with Cargowise or Salesforce would be highly advantageous but not essential.
